There may have been a lot of big stars that got into a car with James Corden for Carpool Karaoke, but Barbra Streisand’s episode is one for the books.
Streisand admitted to have failed her driving test three times which got Corden on the edge of his seat! Despite the host’s anxiety with the singer-actress on the wheel, the pair had fun laughing and belting out some of Streisand’s famous songs.
In the previous episodes, it is Corden that’s usually picking people up but since his car had a boot on its wheel, he had to call his “mate” to drive for him.
It then turned out that Streisand isn’t really a fan of the usual Carpool Karaoke routine.
"I don’t usually put the radio on to hear music so do you really have to hear music?" she asked.
Also, Corden found out that the Grammy-winning singer isn't the best driver either. Talking about failing the tests when she renewed her license, Streisand began to rant that "it’s very difficult!”
“Have you ever seen the questions?" she exclaimed right before she realized that both of her hands were off the wheel.
While the Streisand didn’t have any problems singing her classic hits such as "No More Tears" and "The Way We Were" with Corden, she admitted that she still felt stage fright.
In fact, the 76-year-old singer confessed that she had to stop performing for 27 years because her anxiety was too intense.
"I get scared. I just don’t want to disappoint people," she recalled. But she knows better now. She just always tell herself, "Let go, and let God."
Also claiming that she was not a diva, she remembers calling the CEO of Apple to report a problem regarding iPhone's virtual assistant, Siri.
"People still mispronounce my name, they say Stry-zand, Strisand in England," she complained.
"Siri is saying my name wrong. So what’s a better way to change my name than by speaking to Apple, Tim Cook, and saying, 'It would be so helpful if Siri said my name right, is that possible?'"
The Oscar winner said Cook honored her request and gave Siri's pronunciation a thumbs up when Corden tested it live.
That wasn’t the first time she called an Apple CEO, though.
"I called Steve Jobs once," she recalled. "When I couldn't figure something out on my computer."
Singing her classic duets with Corden may have been fun for Streisand, but she surprisingly debuted her new song "Don't Lie to Me" from her recently-released album, Walls as well.
Talking about a politically charged album, Streisand explained that her new work was inspired by current events.
"That’s why I did this album," she said. "Every song relates to something about what’s going on in these difficult times. The only thing I can do is write about it, and tweet."
That’s right! The legend likes to use the social media that she even tweeted a fun fact about her Carpool Karaoke experience:
"They say there’s a first time for everything… can you believe this was my first time singing out loud in a car?"
